Chiara Cassar

Chiara is a painter and ceramicist. Her work draws on the natural world — gardens, ponds and foliage — rendered in bold blues, sage greens and flashes of coral.

Working across oil, monoprint and clay, she is drawn to colour above all: the way a single warm note can hold together a whole field of cool greens. Each piece begins with a colour relationship and finds its subject from there.
